Mastcher is a master's degree matching platform operated by João Puerta, based in Portugal. We help students find master's programs that fit their profile, budget, and career goals. You can reach us at hello@mastcher.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide when filling out our intake form or email capture. This includes:

• Your name and email address
• Academic background and GPA
• Budget and preferred countries
• Career goals and preferred fields of study
• Language proficiency and test scores (if provided)

We do not collect sensitive personal data, payment information, or data from minors under 16.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

• Build your personalised shortlist of master's programs
• Send you your match results by email
• Follow up with relevant updates about your matched programs (only with your consent)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage and tools

Your submission data is stored in Notion and Google Sheets, used by our team to process your match manually. Form submissions are handled by Tally and Formspree. These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

As a user based in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@mastcher.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Mastcher evolves. Any significant changes will be communicated by email if you are on our list. The latest version will always be available at mastcher.com/privacy.
