1. What Mastcher is

Mastcher is a master's degree matching service that helps students find programs that fit their academic profile, budget, and career goals. We are currently in manual MVP stage — matches are researched and delivered by the founder, not by an automated algorithm.

By using Mastcher, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. What we provide

Mastcher provides informational matching results — a shortlist of master's programs scored by estimated acceptance likelihood, budget fit, and career ROI based on the information you submit.

Our recommendations are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee of admission, financial eligibility, or career outcome. Final decisions about applications are entirely your own.

3. Accuracy of information

We work to keep our program database accurate and up to date. However, tuition fees, admission requirements, and program availability change frequently. Always verify details directly with the institution before applying.

Mastcher is not responsible for decisions made based on our recommendations, nor for any errors or outdated information in our database.

4. Your responsibilities

By using Mastcher, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your intake form
• Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not share, reproduce, or resell your match results
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform

5. Intellectual property

All content on Mastcher — including the scoring methodology, program database, branding, and copy — is owned by Mastcher. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

Mastcher is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of our recommendations for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mastcher is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue Mastcher at any time. We will communicate significant changes to users on our email list where possible.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Portuguese courts.
