Msc. in Industrial Engineering and Management

The MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management at Tecnico Lisboa (IST) equips students with a broad toolkit spanning operations research, supply chain management, decision-support modelling and project management, built on a 72-ECTS core before students choose between two specializations: Operations and Logistics, or Financial Management. Delivered over four semesters (120 ECTS) at the Oeiras/Taguspark campus, the programme is taught in Portuguese, with individual curricular units offered in English for enrolled international or mobility students. It targets holders of a first-cycle degree in Science and Technology with a clear affinity to engineering and management, and closes with a dissertation completed as a scientific thesis, an internship, or a capstone project. Graduates have reported full (100%) employment, moving into operations management, consultancy, financial auditing and R&D roles.
