Msc. in Finance

The Finance - Master's Programme (One Year) at Lund University prepares students for an international career in financial services, including commercial and investment banking, insurance and supervisory authorities, as well as finance functions in private and public sector organisations. Delivered over one year, the research-driven curriculum builds on prior undergraduate knowledge of microeconomics, intermediate finance and econometrics or statistics, and gives students hands-on access to Bloomberg terminals alongside regular guest lectures from finance-industry practitioners. Around 85% of graduates are in employment within three months of finishing, at firms spanning finance and non-financial sectors alike. It is designed for students who already hold a strong quantitative and financial foundation and want to specialise quickly rather than complete a longer two-year degree.
